Please help Misunderstood raise money to save more pit bulls.  Because Misunderstood is a 501c non-profit organization, we rely solely on fundraising efforts, donations, and grants.  Below are a few ways you all can help Misunderstood save the bully breed!

• Bring your dog to the ATTS evaluation on October 18th.
• Get your pit bull the Canine Good Citizen certificate by signing up at http://www.akc.org/events/cgc/ for a local testing.  We only have this grant for 1 year (expires September 2010) and Misunderstood will receive $150 for every pit bull that passes the class.  If you have completed the test, please send us a copy of your dog's certificate and a photo of your dog and you and we can submit it to the AKC.
• Submit your dog's photo for our 2010 calendar!  We will be collecting photos through October 25, 2009.  Once we have collected the photos, we will have a contest for the front of the calendar and will sell them on our website.
• Stop by any Petco, Petsmart, Dogma, Doptopia adoption event and drop off anything from our wish list or make a cash donation.
