CONTEST RULES 

Submit your best pit bull photos for $10 each submission. Votes are $1. Contest ends midnight, October 31, 2009.

The winning photo will appear on the cover of Misunderstood Rescue’s 2010 calendar! The next 11 top vote recipients will appear on following months, which will includes his or her story.

Submission Rules:

1. Photos must be of a Pit Bull or Pit Bull mix.
2. Photos may contain people and other pets.
3. Photo submissions must include a paragraph that tells voters something fun or interesting about the pet(s) in the photograph. 150 words or less.
4. Contest winners will need to submit their photo to Misunderstood Rescue as a high resolution, print quality, jpg image. If a high res image is unavailable, the next top scoring photo may be selected to take its place in the calendar.
5. All submitted photos are subject to review by Misunderstood Rescue. Inappropriate or offensive photos will be removed.
6. All submitted photos become the property of Misunderstood Rescue. By entering the contest, entrants grant Misunderstood Rescue permission to utilize their name, photo and story on its website, newsletters, blog and other publications used by the organization to further its mission.
7. Photos must include the name of the person who took the photo, as well as those featured in the photo. Photos taken by a minor must be submitted by a legal guardian.
8. All photos must be emailed. Sorry, we cannot accept hard copies. (Your local print shop can scan your photo for you.)
9. We will be accepting entries and votes through midnight EST on October 31, 2009.
10. All donations are non-refundable.
11. Misunderstood Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible.

Winners:

1. The photo with the most votes will run on the front cover of Misunderstood Rescue’s 2010 calendar.
2. The next 11 top vote recipients will be run as Pet of the Month.
3. Each winner will receive a calendar 4-8 weeks after the contest completes.
4. Winners will be tallied and announced on November 1, 2009.

Voting Rules:

1. Each $1 donation counts as a vote for that photo.
2. Feel free to promote your image around the Net to encourage voting for your pet's photo!

$10 per dog (you can submit up to two photos of your bully) 

Voting will be October 25- October 31 so get your photos in before voting begins.

The photo with the most votes will be on the cover.
